I am still getting an error, but it has changed. Thus one problem, on one setup is not indicative of the functionality and reliability of an application as a whole.
I did a copy and past, and changed the user to root and changed the password in the operational file to the MySQL password for the root user. Despite any similarity in symptoms, your issue is likely to be completely different because of possible differences in physical servers, accounts, hosts, plugins, theme, configurations, etc.
What should I do next? I have PHPMyAdmin running on a XAMPP install on another (Windows) machine, and wonder if I could just copy the files from my www folder on that machine? Should I start at the beginning again (I may soon be able to do this without using the help files)? All I get is a 404 file not found from my browser. The message is sent from the webserver of an online presence, to the web browser (usually the client) that sent the HTTP request. A 404 error is the standardized HTTP status code. Each time I try, it appears to install, but attempting to load it does not work at (I check my router each time to verify the IP address). Something along the lines of '404 Not Found'. I removed it with the apt-get -purge remove phpmtadmin and shutdown my computer. This time, I installed PHPMyAdmin following the instructions and still it did not work. Li m ngi dng thng gp phi l khi tt tng la cng nh i cng ca Skype, ngi dng vn khng th kt ni c localhost v hin ln ni dung 404 NOT FOUND. Chace sendiri merupakan sebuah proses penyimpanan data sementara sebuah halaman HTML dengan tujuan mengurangi penggunaan bandwidth dan loading server. (I later learned about “apt-get -purge remove xxxxx”) Penyebab kedua munculnya 404 not found adalah adanya masalah pada caching. For example, the first line says that I tried to open a sample, which succeeded (200), then the sample tried to pull fckeditor.html file, which was not found (404). Getting frustated, I reloaded everything starting with a new load of Ubuntu. 3 ) Stop the TNS LIstener (just for completness).
So, try the following: From Services.msc. I did this following the instructions at Installing Apache2 With PHP5 And MySQL Support On Ubuntu 10.10 (LAMP) | HowtoForge - Linux Howtos and Tutorials and made the mistake of selecting yes at using dbconfig-common. The 404 - Not found is usually due to the fact that weblogic has not successfully connected to the database.
Then I installed MySQL, Apache2, PHP5, many PHP5 modules, and everything tested okay (I get the Apache2 index.html, and info.php). I have been on a SERIOUS learning event with this project. Sorry for the long post, but I want to provide enough detail for any help I get.
